What to expect when you use Monomials.
Using Monomials
Monomials is a platform for people currently enrolled in a PhD, PhD graduates and postdoctoral researchers. People who have not enrolled in a PhD, or who left without completing it, are not eligible for the current researcher service. Authorized company representatives may create a company account and submit private job requirements. Creating an account means you agree to these terms and provide consent as described in the privacy notice.
Your account and information
Use a sign-in account you control. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Do not impersonate another person or submit false credentials. You are responsible for having permission to upload your documents and any material involving another person or organization. Describe confidential or embargoed work only to the extent you are authorized to share it.
Verification
Our team may check institutional email access, academic documents and other supporting evidence. Email verification confirms access to an address; it does not by itself establish academic eligibility. We may request corrections, decline verification or revisit a decision when information changes. Researchers can continue accessing their profile and responding to review requests. Contact hello@monomials.in if you want us to reconsider a decision.
Opportunities
Monomials aims to connect researchers with relevant industry opportunities. Registration, profile completion and verification do not guarantee contact, employment, compensation or a successful match. Employers and researchers are responsible for evaluating opportunities and agreeing to any separate employment, consulting or collaboration arrangement. Submitting a company job requirement does not guarantee a shortlist or hiring outcome. Activities in a job timeline reflect updates recorded by our team, not automatic completion of agreements.
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you provide. You allow Monomials to store, display privately to authorized reviewers and process that content to operate the service, verify your background and understand opportunity fit. Your researcher profile is not public. Any external sharing for an opportunity will require your permission.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access another person’s account or files, scrape private information, upload malicious content, bypass access restrictions or disrupt the service. We may restrict accounts involved in abuse or fraud and retain relevant security records where needed.
Availability and changes
We may improve features, correct errors or temporarily interrupt the service for maintenance or security. We will not knowingly represent an incomplete action as successful. If a service is unavailable, the application will show an error or indicate that the feature is not yet enabled. Keep your own copies of important research and certificates.
Leaving and contacting us
Researchers may request account deletion in settings. Company representatives may request deletion by emailing hello@monomials.in. See the privacy notice for how information is handled after a request. Questions, review appeals and service concerns can be sent to hello@monomials.in. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law. These terms were last updated on 14 October 2026.
